We’re hiring a Workshop Technician to keep our operations running at peak performance.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing equipment and machinery within our workshop, making sure everything operates safely, efficiently, and up to IRE’s standards.
From leading oilfield equipment overhauls, such as Iron Roughnecks, to mentoring junior technicians, this role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and precision.
What you’ll do Perform maintenance and repairs.
Inspect, repair, and test a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient performance.
Oversee projects.
Lead and execute complex workshop projects, including Iron Roughneck overhauls, within set timelines and quality standards.
Guide others.
Supervise and train Junior Technicians, ensuring work accuracy and adherence to safety standards Collaborate.
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth part movements and technical alignment.
Ensure compliance.
Prepare and maintain documentation, workspace organization, and safety practices in line with IRE protocols and Industry Standards adherence.
Drive improvement.
Contribute to process enhancements and innovation to boost workshop efficiency and performance.
What makes you a fit Minimum 3 years of experience in oilfield equipment overhauls, specifically hydraulic equipment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in workshop equipment maintenance.
Proven skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
Experience leading projects or supervising junior staff within a workshop setting.
Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and cross-functional teams.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
Added advantage is experience within and API certified and/or offshore environment.
