JOB TITLE: Competency Management Advisor


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


·Provide support to clients, employees and management with compliance of company competence framework.


·Support Contract Managers, Focal Points, Contract Support Leads with the implementation and ongoing management of Competence and Training including closure of gaps


·Train and coach the on Site Assessors


·Carry out Assessment of Assessors against the current National Occupational Standard in Assessment (SQA qualification)


·Carry out Internal Quality Assurance applying the CMS Verification Standard and Sampling strategy


·Provide compliance reports to internal and external clients as per agreed frequency


·Carry out completion of internal Competence & Training team reports and all actions i.e. changes for contracts responsible for


·Initiate, action and maintain all deviations and MoC’s


·Delivery of inductions and CMS demo’s for new starts including assurance of compliance with the RTW process


·Owner of data systems i.e. PBi, TMS & CMS Dashboards ensuring accurate and up to date data at all times


·Implementation and ongoing management of WFP for relevant contracts, working closely with the relevant Logistics and Adhoc resourcing team members


·Manage project requests from design to implementation


·Carry out profile builds and new contract builds in SVX


·Actively support and participate in internal and external client audits


·Actively support and participate in Awarding Organisation audits i.e. OPITO and SQA


·Competence & Training focal point for contracts ensuring a holistic approach of all activities for internal and external individuals on the contract


·Adhere to Petrofac Competence & Training framework and standards as well as Awarding Organisation requirements


·Carry out site visits (offshore) as requested and required by client

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:


·Workplace Assessor Qualification i.e. L&D9DI or equivalent


·Internal Verifier Qualification i.e. L&D11 or equivalent


·Recent experience of assessing vocational qualifications i.e. apprenticeships or NVQ/SVQ’s including PDA’s


·Good working experience of Microsoft Office tools


·Demonstrable experience of CMS/TMS software systems and building profiles/requirements within


·Current Offshore Survival Certification (BOSIET, MIST) or be willing to undertake


·Proven recent experience in the delivery of qualifications – successfully progressing a full cohort of learners from induction through to certification (SVQ/NVQ/SCQF/PDA)


·Ability to organise tasks, priorities and have forward planning


·Ability to work autonomously on own initiative.
