Role description: As a Senior Construction Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining program- and project-level schedules for large infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will provide critical oversight of schedule performance, proactively identify risks and delays, and support informed decision-making to ensure project milestones, objectives, and delivery commitments are successfully achieved.
Role accountabilities: Independently review, analyze, and evaluate baseline schedules submitted by contractors to assess feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with contract requirements and project objectives.
Review and analyze monthly schedule updates, identify schedule variances, delays, and trends, and prepare clear, comprehensive reports for project stakeholders.
Coordinate schedule review activities with project staff and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall project goals, milestones, and delivery requirements.
Review and analyze contractors’ Time Impact (Entitlement) Analyses, evaluate schedule impacts of proposed changes or delays, and provide findings and recommendations to support client negotiations.
Perform advanced scheduling functions, including cost-loaded schedules, cost and schedule status reporting, cash flow forecasting, task and confirmation tracking, claims analysis, overall program performance assessment, and preparation of periodic reports for executive oversight and field coordination.
Adhere to established internal controls and quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable schedule data and reporting.
Conduct site visits during baseline schedule development and throughout construction to verify physical progress, identify out-of-sequence work, and update project schedules accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or relevant work experience 10 + years of project scheduling experience on construction projects Experience on urban, public works and railroad projects is desirable Advanced or Proficient experience with P6 or other scheduling software Experience with reading drawings and contract specifications Ability to effectively communicate, lead meetings, possess good interpersonal skills and meet deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000.
Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
